Inspiration Faye's character is somewhat tragic, and doomed by circumstance. She comes to expect disappointment from the world but keeps her chin high (in her own way) whether or not thats how she truely feels. Something about her whimsy appeals to me. She puts up a very good show of being lazy and vain but as Cowboy Bebop progresses we see glimpses into her soul. We learn Faye has many facets to her personality. She is capable of kindness and sentimentality and does worry for the people who she grows close with. However hard she may try to prevent forming bonds she grudgingly comes to accept and enjoy the company of her friends. Faye is like an ogre. She has layers.
